Why do schools need accreditation?
Accreditation is a type of quality assurance for members of a school community. It provides an opportunity for an outside agency to visit and help a school to review their practices and reflect on what areas work well and on what areas might need improvement. The accreditation process enables schools to determine what they need to become better for kids.
Oakhill Academy has applied for Initial accreditation. Our first accreditation visit will be spring of 2018 with
Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS)
